Bella came to live with us in November 2024. She was out in the elements, cold, wet and miserable when we rescued her. She had two friends that unfortunately had died and she was alone and scared.

We rescued her just in time before the worse storm we have had set in. We made her snug and warm under a heat lamp and with a radiator nearby. She was tiny and beautiful, very friendly and loved to be fussed.

She had a permanent limp, but was happy and content. She loved her food and was calm and placid. She loved being read stories and snuggling under her blankets.

She was in isolation for a while and then moved over to the main area with Harry Basil (our new rescue). They got on so well and he loved her and always let her lay down first. She gained strength every day.

She loved her new bedroom that was built for her in Michael’s barn where she had lots of toys to play with. She ate sow nuts and a variety of fruit and vegetables.

She died peacefully this year 2025 of cancer and we miss her so much. Thank you for loving. Her like we still do.
